As Peter and I were only weeks away from our Spring Break trip to Brazil with fellow HBS'ers...we thought it wouldn't hurt to sample some Brazilian cuisine before we jetted off South of the border.
Our first time at Muqueca did not blow us away, we were actually quite worried about our time in Brazil based on that one food outing, but subsequent visits to Muqueca have been much more positive.
I think it's just about knowing what to order and sampling a range of items at any restaurant!
Shrimp with Sauteed Garlic Olive Oil and Cilantro--for some reason, this appetizer was just not that tasty...had very high hopes since I love garlic, olive oil and cilantro too!! Should have been robust in flavor!
Fish Moqueca--for some reason, this first time at Muqueca, the fish moqueca was lacking in any seasoning at all...subsequent visits though have been WAAYYYY better, it was almost as if the chef totally forgot to add anything to this dish our first time there!!
