Well, good thing we bounced back from the disappointment at Blue Ginger with a dinner at Market by Jean Georges.
This time, not only did we enjoy a fabulous meal, we also were in the company of one of our dear HBS pals, Maurice :)
I think this was some Corn soup--love how fancy places pour the soup over the ingredients at the table, to remind you this wasn't just sitting back there in some huge pot all day hehe
Tuna Tartare with Avocado, Spicy Radish and Ginger Dressing--I admit, I can't often pass on tuna tartare, though I'd say more than half of the time, I regret ordering it once I taste it but this one was a good tasty surprise!
Can't remember this dish but I think it may be some "Parmesan crusted...fish?" sorry--all I know is it was yummy haha
Slow Cooked Atlantic Salmon in a light tomato cream broth--perfectly cooked, moist and tasty and the other flavors did not overwhelm the fish either!
Warm Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream--super delicious and yummy chocolate sauce oozed out from the center of the cake, we're not even usually chocolate fans and we found this to be sumptuous!
I *think* this was the Creme Fraiche Cheesecake with Port Poached Figs and Raspberry Sorbet--you know me, I love anything with "creme fraiche" haha
