Petit Robert Bistro with Petah Pancakes

I am back and alive!!!!

Thanks to all my loyal readers who reminded me constantly that I needed to update here!

Since moving back to Cali, things have been just sheer madness and craziness, alas, that's not a good enough excuse, so we'll just get to posting regularly again :)

And yes! More closet, fashion item profile pics and posts to come!!!

 

 

Here Peter and I had our Christmas Eve dinner at Petit Robert Bistro before I jetted off to L.A. to spend the holidays with my family :)

I've completely forgotten what dish this was haha, but I'm sure it was quite good, never really walked away from Petit Robert sorry...

This may not seem like anything significant but we took this picture since Peter exclaimed, "Wow, free valet parking...free parking of any kind in Boston!!!??"

It's true and sad, parking in Boston is a complete nightmare, you'd think driving was tough enough there but finding parking is nearly impossible, and free parking is a true rarity!!!

 

 

 

 

Faneuil Hall & Touring Some Boston Sights with Petah

 

In our last months in Boston, Peter and I figured we should try to see as much of Boston as possible (ie: Duck Tours and such)...it was kind of crazy but in the 1.5 years we had been in Boston, this was our first visit to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall!

Afternoon Tea @ The Taj Boston with Maggie :)

 

During our 2 year stay in Boston, my go-to Afternoon Tea place was The Taj Hotel in the Back Bay.  I can't say it was the bestest I've ever had or even that the decor and atmosphere was stunning, but, it did fit the bill of what one would look for in an afternoon tea experience.  I think the rooms could have done with a little more decorating since it always felt kind of drab, and with Boston weather the way it is, making the indoors nice and inviting is that much more important.

Anyhoo, here are pics from another occasion of The Taj Afternoon Tea with one of my favorite buddies from HBS :)

*Cowee & Petah Five Year Anniversary Dinner @ Menton Boston*

 

This past December 2011, Peter and I celebrated our FIVE YEAR Anniversary with a delicious dinner at Menton in Boston!

It really is amazing how fast time flies (the more I say this, the more I feel like an old person on a rocking chair telling her Grandchild this or something haha)...but it really is an amazing feeling to have shared the adventures of traveling, eating, shopping, TV & Movie watching together with my best friend Petahpoo :)

Went to Mamma Maria's Italian Restaurant in the North End Boston for a South Carolina Governor's School reunion (Peter's high school in South Carolina) :)

HBS Whipple Trophy for Dynamic Markets :)

 

Back at the end of EC Fall Semester 2011, Peter and his partner, Mike Pan, won the esteemed Harvard Business School Whipple Award for their Dynamic Markets class taught by Josh Coval.

I cannot tell you the number of times Peter got into such a fuss over this Dynamic Markets class, and for those of you who know Peter, you will know he is just about as laid back (much to my dislike sometimes as I'm the complete opposite, super OCD type) as they come...so him being all crazy about this one class was really quite a shock to the system and a sight to see...

Well, I guess all his focus and hardwork really paid off, here's some pics the guys asked me to snap when they received their Whipple Award Trophy :)
